Welcome to QVarStar

QVarStar is GCVS (General Catalogue of Variable Stars) catalog browser for Unix. You can use it to search catalog by using special query language. This is new project and current version is 0.1 which you can download here:

QVarStar-0.1.tar.gz

Important: This is the first release of QVarStar. Please send me a comment if you don't like some feature, if you want something new in program or if you've found bug. I'll be glad to add new useful features.

For compilation you need g++ compiler, perl, qt libraries and qmake tool.

Here you can download GCVS catalog separate from QVarStar project: gcvs.db.gz
